The VAC Work Teams meet via conference call and/or face-to-face in between quarterly VAC meetings. Please contact the team chair for specific team meeting dates and information.

 

Asthma Action Plan Team

Currently focused on revising the Virginia's Asthma Action Plan.

Asthma Education Program Team
Currently collecting information on various asthma education programs in the state and will be in charge of conducting the May Asthma Month education campaign entitled: "Closing the Case on Asthma"

Collects Asthma data and research for sharing with VAC members.

E-News Team

Develops bimonthly electronic newsletters about asthma related activities occurring in the state of VA.

Develops policies related to asthma issues (i.e. coal, wind, and smoking).
